Backstreet Boys star Nick Carter, who had earlier said that he would never marry in his life, has tied the knot with his longtime girlfriend Lauren Kitt.
The 34-year-old singer got married to Lauren in a Southern California style wedding on Saturday, reported People magazine.
The ‘I Want It That Way’ hitmaker had earlier said that he would never get married but changed his mind when his bandmate Howie Dorough convinced him to go ahead with the proposal.
“I asked Howie for advice. I was like, ‘I love her, and I don’t want to lose her.’ And he was like, ‘Just do it!’,” he said.
Nick had proposed to Lauren, a fitness expert and actress, last February with an enormous 7-carat pear-shaped diamond in the Florida Keys, after sailing to a nearby island.
Nick’s other bandmate A J McLean attended his pre-wedding dinner party. (PTI)
