State Govt seeks report on killing of B’deshi youth at Hat Thymmai

SHILLONG: Principal Secretary, Home Department, KS Kropha, on Wednesday said the Meghalaya Government has sought a report from the district administration on the recent incident relating to killing of a Bangladeshi youth in Meghalaya.
Kropha informed that the report would be intimated to the Central Government after which it would be shared with Bangladesh.
Dhaka has registered a strong protest against the killing of a Bangladeshi youth Delwar Hossain (17), at the International Border at Hat Thymmai (Naya Bazar) under Pynursla PS in East Khasi Hills District, who was allegedly shot by Indian civilians.
