Deaths
lOn April 17 at around 10:30 pm, one Brightwell Marwein (28) fell down from his residence at Jelly Shop, Nongthymmai. He was taken to NEIGRIHMS but succumbed to his injuries on April 19.
lOn April 18 at around 5:30 pm, one Roster Syngkli fell down from a running truck (ML-10-1111) at Khetlum Nongladew (RB) and died on the spot.
Bike torched
On April 18 at around 2:20 am, unknown miscreants torched one motorcycle (ML-05K-7708) belonging to one Liangzalal Phiampau at PR Shylla Apartment, Cleve Colony.
Theft
lOn April 18 at around 9:45 pm, unknown miscreants broke into the GAD Quarter of one A.S. Mukhim, MCS at Motinagar, and stole one laptop.
lOn April 17 at around 3.30 am, unknown miscreants stole one Bolero (ML-08D-0075) belonging to one Pranab B. Marak from Ronggekgre village (WGH).
lOn April 17 in between 1.30 am to 2 am, one unknown miscreant trespassed into the house at Malki, Shillong. He molested a fifteen year girl and stole cash Rs 1,920.
lOn the intervening night of April 17 and 18, unknown burglers stole one digital camera, one cell-phone, memory cards and SIM cards from the shop of one Sunny Pathaw at Jhalupara, Shillong
lOn April 16, unknown miscreants stole taxi beacon light, LCD music system and a tyre from a local taxi (ML-05H-1732) belonging to one Ferdinand Mawthoh at Motinagar.
Money looted
On April 17 at around 8:45 pm, two unknown masked miscreants looted cash amounting to Rs 1,05,700 at gun point from Upper Shillong Service Station, 3rd Mile.
Baby abandoned
One Ruben G. Laloo of Nongthymmai, lodged a complaint at Shillong Sadar police station that on April 16, one Banpynbiang Sohtun abandoned her newborn baby girl at Ganesh Das Hospital.
Seizure
On April 15, BSF personnel of Chikenbary (SWKH) intercepted one motorcycle (ML-05J-6810) ridden by one Pradip K. Polin Thongni and recovered six Gelatin sticks, six detonators and one safety fuse.
Rape
On March. 29 one Edrin Bina (40) sexually assaulted his daughter at Pomshutia, Pynursla in East Khasi Hills. Police arrested the accused.
