SHILLONG: Liberation of Achik Elite Force (LAEF) has informed that the cadres arrested by the police in West Khasi Hills do not belong to LAEF. In a statement issued to the media on Monday, the LAEF self styled commander in chief Riksrang G Momin said that the arrested persons, Phijo Marak, Chang K Marak and Thiuss G Momin were not their cadres. “We condemn their illegal activities being carried out in the name of LAEF”, Momin said.

Momin further asked the LAEF Commander of Khasi Hills Agustine Marak to carry out operations against those who misuse the name of LAEF by way of engaging in illegal activities.
