SHILLONG: The HSPDP Central Executive Committee (CEC) has endorsed the decision to expel Fenela L Nonglait from the party.
“We have unanimously decided to expel Fenela from the party by endorsing the decision of the Mawthadraishan HSPDP,” HSPDP joint secretary Witting Mawsor told newsmen after a party CEC meeting here on Thursday.
Mawsor also asserted that this decision was arrived at after thorough deliberations on her involvement in anti-party activities.
“We have got videos and newspaper clippings which substantiate that Fenela had defied the party’s decision by attending a public meeting and openly supporting another candidate,” he said.
