SHILLLONG: The Meghalaya Eco-Friendly Students Union (MEFSU) carried out a cleaning drive-cum- awareness programme at Mawryngkneng on Friday in collaboration with the Seng Samla of the locality.
The publicity secretary of the Union, Samborwell Kharjana said the aim of the event was to create awareness on environment issues and “to instill in the hearts of all, a spirit of responsibility to take care of our ailing environment”.
