NONGSTOIN: One Khrawborlin Mawlein of New Nongstoin, died on the spot after the vehicle he was driving fell off the road into a 60 feet deep gorge at Sohpian in Nongstoin on Saturday.
The vehicle with seven passengers onboard was returning from Nongkhnum after attending the Nongkhnum Spring Festival.
It was en route to Pamphyrnai where the passengers were supposed to attend a wedding ceremony.
Six passengers of the vehicle sustained minor injuries and were rushed to Nongstoin Civil Hospital Nongstoin. Three of them were discharged shortly while the remaining were admitted for further treatment.
