SHILLONG: Police arrested one person for accidentally shooting one person dead at Nongshken jungle in East Khasi Hills.
Police said that the incident happened on May 6 around 8 pm, when one Pyrshang Lawram was hunting at Nongshken jungle (EKH) and mistook Kiarling Massar for a wild animal and accidentally shot him with his SBBL gun.
The victim died on the spot and police arrested the accused.
