Los Angeles: TV presenter Jenny McCarthy says she knew that she will have a strong relationship with singer Donnie Wahlberg because they got to know each other without researching each other’s past.
The 41-year-old said her relationship with the singer is strong because she got to know him for who he is, rather than reading about his past on internet, reports contactmusic.com.
“We both trusted the process of dating and we didn’t let stories take over. I think a lot of times we get caught up in the fantasy of who we think somebody is, and instead we trusted getting to know who each other are for real,” said McCarthy.
“So we paid attention to each other, we didn’t make up things and Google each other,” she added.
The duo, who got engaged on April 16, are to be married soon as they have spent the past few weeks planning their big day. (IANS)
