SHILLONG: Shillong Cricket Association 1 defeated South West Khasi Hills by 60 runs in their U-16 Inter District Cricket Tournament match at the Cricket Ground, Polo, on Tuesday.
SWKH won the toss and chose to field first and their opponents subsequently made 173/7 in 35 overs.
Biprodeep Das scored 60 runs, while Pynkhlain Marwein bagged 3-34.
In reply, SWKH were dismissed for 113 in 26.4 overs.
Armingstar Lyngdoh top-scored with 21, while Ram Nakshatra Chauhan (3-18) and Md Asif Khan (2-26) did most of the damage for SCA 1.
