SHILLONG: In a shocking incident, one person allegedly kidnapped a lady and her three-year-old daughter.
Police said that the incident happened on Wednesday when one Kam Bora allegedly kidnapped Irita War (23) and her three-year-old daughter from Mawphlang, East Khasi Hills.
When contacted, East Khasi Hills SP M Kharkrang said that it was a missing case and both the mother and the daughter have come back.
Police is investigating into the matter.
Meanwhile, police arrested one person in connection with an attempted murder case at Khanapara, Ri Bhoi district on May 14.
The arrested person has been identified as Jadol Das of Palaguri Morigaon, Assam.
