Programme
Department of Forest and Environment will conduct a programme to celebrate the International Day for Biodiversity on May 22 at Aurobindo Hall, SAIIC from 11:30 am onwards. Chief Minister Dr Mukul Sangma will be the chief guest.
CALM festival
The Shillong Creative Arts Literature, and Music Festival 2014 will be inaugurated by the Governor Dr KK Paul on May 21 at 6 pm at State Central Library auditorium.
Eye camp
Shillong Agarwal Samiti has tied up with Bawri Nethralaya a premier eye hospital, Shillong for providing free eye check up camp to the people of Meghalaya at All Saints Hall on May 20 at 8:30 am. Doctors and nurses will check the patients and prescribe necessary treatments along with free medicine and spectacles. Health Minister A L Hek will be the chief guest.
