GSU urge schools to be extra cautious

TURA: In view of unprecedented incidents happening in and around Williamnagar Town in East Garo Hills in recent months the Garo students’ Union (GSU), East Zone, Williamnagar has appealed to the authorities of various schools in Williamnagar region to take extra precautions for the safety of the students especially during break hours and closing time. The union also urged the school authorities to notify parents of students to pick up their children from their respective schools and to disallow unknown persons from picking them up without proper verification.

It may be mentioned that Christian groups in Garo Hills are working to quell the rapid growth of Satanism after reports that several teenagers had taken up devil worship.
