SHILLONG: The All India Football Federation’s Kalyani Regional Academy boys had their first practice session under lights at the Barasat Stadium near Kolkata on Wednesday.

The Kalyani boys will take on Frenz United Indonesia in their first home game of the Asian Champions Trophy on Saturday at 6:35pm in a match that will be broadcast live on DD Sports.

The AIFF XI lost to Frenz United Malaysia A in their opening encounter away last week, while the Indonesian team were also defeated in their first fixture, losing to PVF Vietnam 2-0.

“We need to make the boys get used to the conditions,” head coach Goutam Ghosh told the AIFF website. “It was important to get them used to play under the lights.”
