The PM’s Package announced by Dr Singh ushered in a new era of development in the state and predicted that completion of the projects will bring a sea change in the development landscape of Arunachal Pradesh.
‘I owe a debt of personal gratitude to you for always lending a sympathetic ear to the problems of my state during my interactions with you ever since my assumption of office as Chief Minister nearly two and half years ago. Our state benefitted from your prompt action regarding different issues at various times during your tenure. Your firm belief that the development of states like ours is a measure of the progress of the nation as a whole will continue to inspire and guide us in the times ahead,’ Tuki said.
Tuki asserted that it would be hard for anyone to match the standards of probity in public life, which Dr Singh embodied during his long tenure.
‘The country was able to tide over many difficult crises especially in the backdrop of the global financial scenario primarily due to your sagacity and acute understanding of the fundamentals of good Governance. It is needless to mention that the landmark economic reforms introduced by you guided India into the 21st century as a globally competitive economic power,’ he observed.
While assuring that people of Arunachal Pradesh will always remember Dr Singh for his kindness and affection showered on them, the newly elected Chief Minister sought continuous guidance and blessings for the times ahead.
