Complaint
Baiaribasuk Diengdoh lodged a complaint at Laitumkhrah PS that on May 29 at around 5.30 pm, one Wensius Kharkongor and Benedict Nongrum went to her quarter at DHS Complex, Laitumkhrah and created nuisance besides causing inconvenience to her family. Police arrested the accused persons.
Theft
On May 29 at around 2.50 pm, unknown miscreants stole one Maruti Swift Dezire (ML-05J-2616) belonging to Gurudev Chouhan from Rilbong, Shillong. Matter is under enquiry.
On May 21 at around 2 am, unknown miscreants stole one battery valued around Rs. 8,100 from a vehicle (ML-07-2966) belonging to Mandar Mawnai at Thangmaw village (WKH).
Threat
Jennifer Kharshandi lodged a complaint at Lumdiengjri PS that she received anonymous threat calls on March 28, April 28 and May 27. Her sister also received threatening calls from the same caller.
Fraud
Miss Usha M Sangma, an agent of Velocity Rural Bank of India located at Nongthymmai Nongshiliang, Shillong lodged a complaint at Rynjah PS that in the year 2012, the company opened a Branch at Nongthymmai Nongshiliang, Shillong with Biswanath M Sangma as branch manager. However, since Nov. 2013, the company has closed down without notice to the agents / customers.
