SBI cash deposit machine installed in Tura

TURA: Making cash deposit more hassle free for its customers, State Bank of India, Tura Region on Saturday installed Cash Deposit Machine (CDM) at State Bank of India, evening branch Tura.

The move follows the installation of Green Channel Counters (GCC) at all branches in Garo Hills where Customers can walk into the bank with their ATM cards and deposit, withdraw or transfer money to any account within the bank at such counters. The transactions are paperless.

PravinBakshi, Deputy Commissioner, West Garo Hills, on Saturday formally inaugurated the new facility created on the premises of the evening branch, Tura.

He lauded the efforts of State Bank of India in bringing latest technology to the people of Garo Hills and hoped that the facility would highly benefit the customers. The facility would be available from 9 AM to 9 PM, it would be helpful to customers, especially traders and shopkeepers.
