AMPATI: A record number of 55 teams participated in the district level Subroto Mukherjee Football Tournament for South West Garo Hills which concluded at the Ampati Mini Stadium here on Tuesday afternoon.
The football tourney, which ended with the distribution of trophies and medals, witnessed the teams compete in the under-14 (boys), under-17 (boys) and under-17 (girls) categories.
St. Claret School, Ampati emerged winners in both under-17 (boys) and under-17 (girls) categories respectively while Ampati Government Higher Secondary School walked away with the winners’ trophy for the under-14 (boys) category.
