SHILLONG: Senior Meghalaya bureaucrat, N S Samant (86 batch) passed away recently.
He is survived by his wife and two children. A prayer meeting will be held at DI/116, Chanakyapuri, Satya Marg, New Delhi on June 6.
The members of the IAS and State Civil Service met in the Conference Room of the Meghalaya Secretariat and conveyed their condolences on hearing the untimely demise of lateS Samant and prayed to God to grant solace to the family in their hour of grief.
