Arunachal CM appoints 18 Parliamentary Secretaries

Itanagar:  Arunachal Pradesh Chief Minister Nabam Tuki has appointed 18 elected Congress legislators as Parliamentary Secretaries of the state.
The elected legislators are C T Mein, Punji Mara, Phosum Khimhun, Jomde Kena, Techi Kaso, Bamang Felix, Jambey Tashi, Likha Saya, Markio Tado, Phurpa Tsering, Kumsi Sidisow, Alo Libang, Karya Bagang, Tapuk Taku, Gum Tayeng, Mama Natung, Muchu Mithi and Tatung Jamoh.
Tuki administered the oath of office and secrecy to the Parliamentary Secretaries in a simple function held at Banquet Hall, here this evening.
Among the 18 members, five were debutant in the post of Parliamentary Secretary. There are three MLAs, who were elected in the Assembly as a first timer.  However, the departments of the Parliamentary Secretaries were yet to be allocated.
After securing over two-third majority in the concluded Assembly Elections,  Tuki was  sworn-in as the seventh Chief Minister of the state on May 18. (UNI)
