Nagaland CM meets DoNER Minister

Kohima: T R Zeliang has apprised Minister of State for Development of North Eastern Region (DoNER) Gen. (Retd) V K Singh of the delays in sanctioning of retained schemes under Non Lapsable Central Pool of Resources (NLCPR) mainly due to vetting of schemes in the Line Ministries.
According to an official release, Zeliang, who met Gen. Singh Monday, suggested that the ministry have Technical Cell to vet schemes which will considerably cut down on delays in sanction and release of funds against the schemes under NLCPR. He also stated that he would bring one Detailed Project Report (DPR) from each district which will fulfil the aspiration of local people. (UNI)
