SHILLONG: After suffering from load shedding for months, there is finally some good news as football fans in Meghalaya will be able to enjoy  uninterrupted  World Cup matches without any load shedding.
MeECL engineer  Elias Lyngdoh said that as far as power generation is concerned, there will not be any problems  during the  World Cup. He said that there is no load shedding in the state since the Myntdu Leshka Hydro project is generating full power and NEEPCO is also supplying power to the state .
The only concern for the football fans could be the weather as strong storms could produce local power disturbances.
