NONGSTOIN: Police arrested one Khrestarwel Lyngkhoi (32) of Nongtraw village near Maweit in West Khasi Hills on Saturday for allegedly raping his 16-year-old step daughter.
Lyngkhoi, has been allegedly sexually assaulting the 16-year-old girl since January, 2014. The incident came to light only after the girl went for a medical examination and was found to be pregnant.
The Seng Longkmie New Nongstoin also lodged an FIR in this regard.
