SHILLONG: Despite the annual Monsoon hitting the North Eastern part of the country more than one week back, there seems to be a reversal of the general weather condition in Meghalaya with unusually high temperatures being recorded during the day and the small spell of showers not providing any respite from the heat. The mercury tends to remain on the higher side till the evening hours with the sunset on Wednesday recorded at 6:45 pm. With no rainfall, the MeECL has yet again resorted to power cuts in Shillong during the day time
