Unclaimed body

JOWAI: An unclaimed body is lying in the morgue in Jowai District Hospital, Jowai in West Jaintia HIlls District.

Hospital authorities and the Police have requested relatives to come and claim the body before it is legally disposed off.

The person has been identified as Jeet Bahadur Thappa, (46) who was admitted on May 28 and passed away on June 15. Till date none of his relatives have come to claim his body. Thappa is a temporary resident of Newhill Jowai.
