AMPATI: In an attempt to boost police-public relations, South West Garo Hills District Police has initiated the Public Outreach Programme in collaboration with the district administration.

As part of the initiative, Superintendent of Police, R. Muthu, along with Deputy Commissioner, Ram Singh, and other district officials participated in the tree plantation with villagers at Boldakgre village in Salmanpara on Tuesday.

They also visited some village schools and interacted with the students, school management committees, village elders and parents.
