HC stays amendment

SHILLONG: The High Court of Meghalaya has stayed the operation of the amendment of the resolution   of the executive committee of the Rajasthan Vishram Bhawan which has 658 members.
It may be mentioned that Executive Committee of the Rajasthan Vishram Bhawan is resolution of 2013 amended the constitution in a general meeting attended by 95 members only in which the membership of the Bhawan was restricted to the head of the family only instead of every member of the family.
Two members of the Association Shiv Kumar Agarwal and Sita Ram Agarwal being aggrieved by the amendment moved the High Court contending that as per law two-third of the members of the Association should support an amendment which was not done in this case.
