Two dead in accident in city

SHILLONG: In an accident caused by traffic rule violation, two persons including a teenager were killed when the two-wheeler carrying them met with an accident on Wednesday around 10.15 pm.
The incident occurred when the motorcycle (ML-05K-7306) ridden by one Indresh Ray (22) and carrying Bholu Yadav (13) and Dharmendra Ray (30), skidded into a drain at Golf Link, Shillong.
According to reports, both the pillion riders died on the spot, while the rider was shifted to Civil Hospital Shillong and was later referred to Woodland Hospital, Shillong for further treatment.
