KHADC budget

SHILLONG: The KHADC approved its budget for the fiscal year 2014-2015 on the fifth day of Council’s summer session here on Monday.The estimate, which was tabled on the inaugural day of the Council session, had fixed total plan expenditure at Rs 104,38,26,090 while the total revenue earning was pegged at Rs 104,37,80,200, a deficit of Rs 45,890. As per the budget estimates Civil Works and Development department got the highest allocation of Rs 72.54 crore. Other departments having major allocations are Forest Administration (Rs 50.37 crore), Revenue Finance (Rs 41.16 crore) and General Administration (Rs 13.84 crore).
