SHILLONG: The state Home department will wait for concrete information before instituting any inquiry on the allegations of nexus between politicians and militants.

Home Minister Roshan Warjri told reporters on Monday that unless concrete information was gathered, her department might not be in a position to initiate any inquiry into the matter.

The Home Department still terms the politico-militant nexus allegation as ‘vague’.

Earlier, the Opposition MPF had demanded a high level probe into the issue.

Some members from the Opposition are still camping in Delhi seeking the intervention of NDA-led Government to initiate either CBI or NIA inquiry into the matter.
