SHILLONG: Suspected militants abducted a teacher of Dalu Higher Secondary School on Monday morning.
According to police, the teacher, who was on his way to school from Tura in a hired auto along with two other passengers, was kidnapped at gun point from near the Karengre Lali temple.
It is learnt that the armed men initially questioned the three passengers about their profession and then decided to take the teacher along with them while letting the two others off.
