SHILLONG: The six-week preparatory camp for the Indian women’s national team for the upcoming Asian Games will kick off in Mumbai on July 11 with 13 women from the North East among the probables named by coach Tarun Roy on Wednesday.
Manipur dominates the list as the state with the most footballers in the group, although Sikkim and Assam are also represented.
There is no Meghalayan among the list, however.
The camp will conclude on August 25 and will be followed by an exposure trip to China until September 10.
