NONGSTOIN: Srally Rashir, former acting headman of New Nongstoin, was elected as the new village headman during a public meeting organized by the Dorbar shnong, New Nongstoin on July 5.
Appreciating the decision of the people and Dorbar shnong, Rashir promised to offer his service for all and urged the people of the village to co-operate and work together for the benefit of the village as a whole.
Meanwhile, he also appreciated Star Cement Company for donating a public latrine in New Nongstoin football playground.
