SHILLONG: The High Court of Meghalaya has quashed the amendment made in the constitution of the Rajasthan Vishram Bhawan wherein the executive committee had restricted the membership of the Bhawan to the head of the family only instead of every member of the Marwari community.
The amendment was challenged by Shiv Kumar Agarwala who  is a member of Vishram Bhawan and the High Court while hearing both the parties quashed the amendment.
The High Court order means that the original provision of the Constitution of the Bhawan enabling every member of the Mawari community to be members of the Bhawan is restored.
