SHILLONG: Shillong United enjoyed a 2-0 victory over Mawlai in their match in the First Division football league, organised by the Shillong Sports Association, at the JN Sports Complex, Polo, on Wednesday.
L Meitei scored the opening goal in the 41st minute, while Lalmuanzuala effectively killed off Mawlai’s hopes with another in second half stoppage time.
On Thursday, Smit will take on Lawmali Pyllun at 4:00pm.
