SHILLONG: Smit and Lawmali Pyllun played out an entertaining 2-2 draw in their First Division football league match, organised by the Shillong Sports Association, at the JN Sports Complex, Polo, on Thursday.
Both sides had periods where they took the lead, with Smit going 1-0 up in the eighth minute thanks to E Mawthoh’s goal.
S Pyngrope then equalised in the 16th minute for Lawmali and his team mate L Passi later bagged the lead with a goal in the 69th minute.
However, just three minutes later S Nongrum restored parity for Smit and the game ended 2-2.
On Friday Laban SC will face Nongkrem at 4:00pm.
