SHILLONG: Former Assembly Speaker ED Marak, who is associated with the BJP has asked party president Amit Shah to take action against state president Khlur Sing Lyngdoh and general secretary Dipayan Chakraborty for alleged poor management of party affairs in Meghalaya and working against the BJP constitution.

Marak also condemned the statement of Dipayan Chakraborty demanding action against the Meghalaya DGP for neglecting the law and order situation in Garo Hills.

“Dipayan should not have directly blamed the officers since they are all performing their duties under the instructions of their concerned minister or Chief Minister of the state,” he said.
