SHILLONG: Shillong College were crowned champions of the North Eastern Hill University Inter College Football tournament by defeating St Anthony’s College 3-0 here on Thursday.
The goals were scored by familiar faces of the state – Redeem Tlang (39th minute), Rupert Nongrum (44th) and Norasius Kharumnuid (61st).
The champions got past Synod College in the semifinals, while St Anthony’s beat Jaintia Eastern College.
