BSF man dies

SHILLONG: A BSF personnel collapsed and died after he returned from a counter insurgency operation in West Khasi Hills, a delayed report said.

On July 24, while returning from counter insurgency operations at Rangjam area in West Khasi Hills the personnel of 155 Battalion of the BSF identified as Koli Shirang Gangadhar (37) collapsed. He was shifted to PHC Shallang where the Medical Officer declared him brought dead.
