Five SIM card recovered from an inmate in Agartala

Agartala: Tripura government has ordered a probe into the recovery of five SIM card on Saturday from a dreaded criminal lodged in Agartala Central Jail for past few years.

Rohid Mian joined the National Liberation Front of Tripura (NLFT) after killing four of his colleagues in Shermuntilla of Kumarghat about a decade ago.

Reportedly, fellow inmates noticed Rohid using cell phone and they informed the matter to the jailer. The authority conducted search in his cell and found four more SIM cards including one 3G internet enable. It is suspected that Rohid has still been in close contact of anti-national elements staying in the jail. (UNI)
