SHILLONG: A late goal from L Meitei garnered a point in a 1-1 draw for Shillong United in their First Division football league match, organised by the Shillong Sports Association, against Lawmali Pyllun at the JN Sports Complex, Polo, on Tuesday.
Lawmali had taken the early lead thanks to E Bareh in the ninth minute and held on deep into the second half.
However, Meitei snatched the equaliser in the 85th minute and the game ended 1-1.
On Wednesday Nongkrem will take on Laitumkhrah at 4:00pm.
