According to police, intention of the three was to make the victim unconscious before kidnapping him. However, police said the victim sustained severe injuries after being hit by something but did not loss his consciousness. They accused, meanwhile, confessed before police that that they were supposed to hand over the child to the HNLC.

The three have been remanded to eight-day police custody.

Police clueless: The city police is still clueless about the identity of the woman whose semi-clad body was recovered from a river at Demseiniong recently.
