SHILLONG: One person died in a road mishap on Tuesday night at 101 Area, Upper Shillong.
Police said that the accident took place when two motorcycles (ML-05L-5322) driven by Pynbhalang Kharsati (26) and (ML-05H-3005) driven by Ibankynshai Warjri (22) collided at 101 Area, Upper Shillong.
Both the drivers and two pillion riders sustained injuries and were shifted to Civil Hospital Shillong. Ibankynshai Warjri, who was shifted to Woodland Hospital, was declared brought dead by the Medical Officer on duty.
