Photo exhibition on health and family welfare awareness

SHILLONG: As part of its field exhibition programmes, the Field Exhibition Unit of the Directorate of Advertising & Visual Publicity, DAVP, Ministry of Information & Broadcasting Govt. Of India, Shillong started a five-day photo exhibition on Health & Family Welfare Awareness at Jhalupara Community Hall, from Saturday.

The exhibition was inaugurated by IDES, Chief Executive Officer, Jhalupara Cantonment Board, Ms. Lalrinpuii Hrahsel. Hrashel lauded the initiative taken by DAVP, Field Exhibition Unit, Shillong in organizing the exhibition for people’s awareness on issues relating to health. A large section of the people of Jhalupara and its adjoining areas attended he event.

The exhibition covered various health awareness issues like sanitation, disease prevention through vaccination, etc.

The Exhibition will remain open to the public from 11.00 am to 04.00 pm everyday till August 6.
