SHILLONG: The Man-ager of Meghalaya Rural Development Society (MRDS) Brillian Ch. Sangma has been accused of misappropriating Rs. 31 lakh from Tourism Sector Annual Action Plan 2011-2012.

A complaint has been lodged in this regard at Baghmara police station by the president of GSU’s Mindikgre Unit, Greneth M Sangma,

When contacted, South Garo Hills SP Lakador Syiem said that the police registered a case and investigation was on.

“We have to verify all the papers and documents and we are not in a position to comment any thing at this moment,” he said.
