Emraan on kissing: What I do, newcomers can’t
He has kissed almost all his leading ladies on the screen and it has earned him the tag of a serial kisser in Bollywood. He says newcomers may be doing it, but they can’t compete with his hours of experience.
“Someone asked me that the new kids started doing (kissing) it on the screen, but I feel very foolish to say this, but it’s more evolved after years of practice…,” said the actor for “Murder”, “Zeher” and “Woh Lamhe”.
“The things what I do these amateurs can’t do.. I know they mean well, I know they put in their hard work… but I have like 1000 hours of experience compared to like 10 hours of theirs,” added the 35-year-old. (IANS)
Now coming, ‘Spider-Woman’?
If all goes as planned, some girl power may be coming to add weight to the Hollywood’s “Spider-Man” franchise.
Sony Pictures is said to be planning to expand the franchise by recruiting one of its female superheroes for a spin-off film, reports deadline.com.
The studio hopes to release the film as early as 2017.
Earlier this year, “The Amazing Spider-Man” director Marc Webb had shared the possibility of having a Spider-Woman come to life on the big screen.
“This hasn’t been on my mind. But it’s an interesting idea,” he had told eonline.com. (Agencies)
Sanjay Dutt’s ‘Hasmukh Pighal Gaya’ on track
Contrary to media reports, actor Sanjay Dutt’s upcoming home production ‘Hasmukh Pighal Gaya’ is very much on track and will hit screens next summer. There were reports that Dutt’s production house is facing a crisis and the first film from his camp ‘Hasmukh Pighal Gaya’ has been shelved.
Also it said that people working in the production house have been asked to leave as the 55-year-old actor is serving his jail term and wife Manayata, who is running the company, is finding it difficult. However, officials at Sanjay Dutt’s Productions Pvt Ltd, have rubbished the reports. “The reports of our production house shutting down are completely untrue. Our projects are smoothly progressing as per our plans with ‘Hasmukh Pighal Gaya’ looking at a 2015 summer release.
Another film by Raju Hirani is in scripting stage and we have also signed Prabhudeva for our other film project,” Dipti Jindal, COO, Sanjay Dutt Productions Pvt Ltd said in a statement here. The film ‘Hasmukh Pighal Gaya’ is being directed by Sejal Shah and has a bunch of newcomers. Choreographer-director Prabhu Deva will also helm a film under Dutt’s production house. Dutt is currently lodged at Pune’s Yerawada jail, after being sentenced in the 1993 Mumbai blasts case. (PTI)
Motherhood is a tough, tough job: Kate Winslet
Kate Winslet is the mother of three children, and the Oscar-winning actress has revealed that parenting is a tough job. The 38-year-old ‘Titanic’ star said motherhood changes life in a big way, reported Daily Express.
“Look, I have the deepest admiration for mothers everywhere. It’s a tough, tough job. Motherhood will transform your life,” she said. Winslet works alongside a young actor Gattlin Griffith, nearly the same age as her own son Joe, in the upcoming film ‘Labor Day’. Asked whether it is difficult to be working with a child nearly the same age as her children, Winslet said, “First of all, let me tell you that Gattlin was incredible. My daughter is 12 and my son is 9 years old. Gattlin gave me a great insight of how you develop a friendship with your kids, as they are growing older. (PTI)
