WFC ‘U-19 star’ undergoes training with Boca Juniors

SHILLONG: Royal Wahingdoh FC’s U-19 star Khusen Manger is in Argentina to undergo a 10-day exposure training programme with Boca Juniors from August 2 to 12. He would also feature in the IFB Boca Juniors Football Champs team.

Manger, who also travelled to South Africa recently, has been a prominent member of the Wahingdoh youth team and was noticed by the Boca Juniors coaches during a training programme in Goa recently.

As a member of the IFB Boca Juniors Football Champs team he will get to play against several international clubs as part of the exposure matches.

Manger, a product of Royal Wahingdoh FC’s youth development programme, was selected along with 15 other young players from the country who formed the Indian contingent.
