Mothers’ Union condemns abduction

SHILLONG: The Mothers’ Union, Tura has condemned the abduction of SBI official, Subodh Kumar in South Garo Hills. In a statement issued here on Friday, Mothers’ Union said that it denounces the act of kidnapping of any person by any group to suit its evil desires. The kidnapped official, a clerical SBI staffer abducted while he was on duty, deserves support of the people, the NGO added.
