JOWAI: Elios Swer of Rymbai village was elected the new Dolloi of Rymbai Elaka in East Jaintia Hills. Swer secured 5967 votes defeating two other candidates, Itbha Lyngdoh (3111 votes) and Balios Swer (358 votes) in the election, results for which were declared on Friday.
The poll was conducted by the administrative unit of the JHADC following the demise of former Dolloi, (L) Skhem Lyngdoh
