CM provides incentives to beneficiaries

SHILLONG: Chief Minister Mukul Sangma on Saturday provided assistance to the beneficiaries under the Chief Minister’s Social Assistance Scheme at Rongrenggre Higher Secondary School in Williamnagar.

Social Welfare Minister Deborah Marak was also present on the occasion.

Speaking on the occasion Sangma said that the Chief Minister’s Social Assistance Scheme (CMSAS) was started in the year 2011 at Asanang with an aim to benefit widows, old, infirm and the disabled, so as to enable them to live an economically empowered and dignified life.
